Shahrukh Khan detained on Newark Airport in US – No One is looking at the brighter side
I did not want to write about it when I first came to know about it because I did not find it such a big deal. But I can’t bear the drama anymore. And thanks to our media again. OK so lets start it from the start.
Shahrukh Khan was invited in Canada to celebrate Independence Day.
He gets detained at a Canadian Airport because his last name was Shahrukh Khan. I am not a SRK fan so don’t think I am writing it for him. I just don’t like him. Moving on, SRK speaks to media and tells them the story. Media creates a hype around it instead of taking it a positive feedback from US Government and start treating our own country superior then theirs. Everyone has right to protect their country, what if we don’t have what it takes to do that. We need to get out of this “Please Exclude VIP” mode. We need to start treating every VIP a normal person.
Now, Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh Yadav jumps into this bandwagon and without missing a single opportunity to blame SRK. “It was just a publicity stunt for his upcoming movie My Name is Khan” said Amar Singh.
And guess what, Our politician who does not have his own mind Mulayam Singh said : “Now since Amar Singh has already said this then I support him.”
Sharukh Khan got furious and gave a tight slap on Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh’s face and said : Shahrukh Khan does not need any publicity and People with cheap and mean mentality will only think that way.
In that press conference Shahrukh Khan made a sarcastic comment that he would like to frisk Angelia Jolie and Megan Fox when they come to India next time.
Look at the heights of foolishness in India, people in the name of social service are just making fool of themselves and Indian people. I just saw an interview of so called a Women Rights Activist.
She said how could Shahrukh say that he would only frisk Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox. He does it in his movies does not mean that he can do it anywhere”
Ha ha ha ha… It really is laughable. Spend some time in real Women Rights Activities, go and check out whether the girl who gets raped, do they get justice. And get a life.
After all this, I just want to thank Shahrukh Khan. As per me he has done his job. His job was to alert Indian security departments and tell them no one is VIP. When are in business of protecting our country we should just do that, no matter who is at the door. Check everyone, don’t leave even the prime minister of US. Everyone should be treated this way only. Then only we can think about fighting against terrorism. We have to be proactive rather than reactive. Our security department should learn a lesson from all this and start a tit for tat and I hope it happens. But it should not be an unnecessary burden on the tourists.
With this I am adding a new category, Indian Media because I am sick and tired of our media in India. I will post my articles related to our Indian media in this category from now onwards.

Cheap Publicity stunt
Good point, I think our media is really gone mad ever since the TV revolution in India.
The media just over hypes every single thing.Smart people take advantage of it and fool innocent citizens.
When i heard this news i was happy because i thought finally this topic(american security behaving in a bad manner with muslims) has come out. One my freind who is a muslim had to wait at the NY airport more than for five hours. She told me that they have no respect or humanity and keep asking stupid question which annoyes u to the death.
But unfortunately despite talking about the real reason everyone started critizing Shahrukh saying this is a publicity stunt.
Most stupid thing is indian goverment taking the matter with US. Do u ever expect Americans to accept their fault? Americans only think about themselves they think they own the whole world and can do anything to anyone.I think Shahrukh made good point at the end “EVERYONE LOVES WHAT AMERICA HAS TO AFFER BUT I THINK AMERICA HAS TO OFFER LITTLE MORE WARMTH”
I would have to disagree with you here Chamz. Just tell me one single terrorist attack ever since 9/11 in US. I believe you can’t and thats because of this rudeness of their security professionals. Had our policemen done the same thing then we would not have seen the worst terrorists attack in Indian history.
Its time to stop the blame game. I understand that SRK felt bad. But he clearly mentioned that he did not feel bad of being questioned or checked. He felt bad because he was questioned because of his religion. At this SRK is correct and I would say American Policemen are also correct. They have been given a task to complete, which is check every suspicious Muslim specially at the American gates. Now its our problem if our policemen are busy taking bribe from foreigners on our airports. I know India can do wonders in this world and I am committed to give my 100% by supporting my country. But its just that we are living in Ravan Raj at this point of time where we can not do anything till the time Ravan is not dead.
